I got money down on Egypt and Nigeria at 8/1 and 7/1 – I reckon they’re not a bad bet…? Haven’t really followed the fortunes of the African teams so not sure – just looked like generous odds
January 10th, 2010 at 2:32 am
Good pick, but somehow I’m leaning towards Algeria – after that sterling perfomance they put up against Tunisia did enough to convince me
January 10th, 2010 at 7:13 am
Algeria 10/1 – they got the firepower?
On this one I will totally bow to other peoples experience – its not exactly a big bet for me but always nice to support the African continent
January 10th, 2010 at 8:42 am
I’m gonna take a fun bet on both Egypt and Algeria
January 10th, 2010 at 8:44 am
Why is Nigeria so far out – are they missing people?
January 10th, 2010 at 12:42 pm
Yeah Nigeria haven’t been doing well since the days of Okocha, they have no match winners in their squad and have become what Bafana became after winning the AFCON in 96
January 10th, 2010 at 1:48 pm
Hhhmmmm maybe they’ll bounce back this year then – fingers crossed!

Calvin u r a pathetic idiot.. how come they qualify for world cup if they are not good enough?what makes spain, england and brazil good enough? they play most times together both in clubs and at home.. dont be ridiculous.. RSA won 1996 AFCON cause Nigeria was not part..they never beat Nigeria for once..dont forget they didnt let RSA even go past in he AFCON they are the ones who beat them out.. our Injury Problem is gone..watch us win the AFCON.. NIGERIA IS WINNING BELIEVE IT OR NOT..!!!

Hey, For so many years in football I am proud to be a Malawian. Just troused and scourched Algeria 3-0. Great perfomance, splendid goals! Angola, Prepare yourself well well. If you think you know flames think again. FLAMES woyeeeeeeeee!
January 12th, 2010 at 2:26 pm
Wow! Egypt! you are really spoiling us. Heard it was fun all over. Should we all come there? Thank you so much for the hospitality. Yes, once beaten twice shy!
January 13th, 2010 at 2:30 pm
If football was a cube then it would be easy to predict which side it will fall. Football is round and no predictions on the results. Who believes that ALGERIA will be brought to ashes by MALAWI’S FLAMES. Wozzzza FLAMES! Go Konko! Musawasiye! Wozza KINNAH! AUZE!
January 13th, 2010 at 3:26 pm
