OK SO who do you pick.
Here is just a flyer
SuperSport to beat Amazulu
Wits to beat Chiefs
Pirates to beat Ajax
50/50 between Free State stars and Golden arrows, But I pick Free State

@Robert,
I agree with most of your choices, but Wits to beat chiefs? aikhona, heheh, Chiefs have played so many pre season games and they are more than ready for this tournament, Wits are still a bit rusty

I’ll be completely unbiased and hope Ajax wins! Thereafter, maybe Pirates. I actually have no idea whom to support. Ajax is who I saw when I was in Amsterdam, and the name reminds me of the Greek superhero. I now understand that Ajax CPT requires superhuman strength to win anything. I like the underdog.

@Emil,
Ajax are now coached by South Africa’s best coach, Muhsin Ertugral, who’s a pro when it comes to winning cups, I give them a very good chance…

Are these games on TV?
August 4th, 2009 at 8:35 am
Yes! for a change SABC 1 wont delay them, they’ve rescheduled their programs to accomodate the MTN8 – While the one match will be playing on SABC 1 – the other will be on SS4

Say what you like, Pirates will continue from what they did in the Telkom Charity cup

@George,
I can tell you are an OP Supporter, and with that said, you of all people should know what Muhsin Ertugral is capable when it comes to cups :S

Well done to boys of love and peace, Amakhosi. Ajax and it’s inside quarrels between coach and players will most probably not see light of final day.
August 6th, 2009 at 7:01 pm
Yah, Amakhosi had a good game, the issues at Ajax are long from over, but it looks like the CEO is behind Muhsin, I hear he called off the transfer of Ferreira because he missed training, that guy means business…
