Greetings from South Africa, where all the action is taking place as far as football is concerned, the Confederations Cup is currently underway and has not disappointed at all. We’ve seen plenty of goals accompanied by plenty of surprises, the most prominent surprise of course being the early exit of the world champions, Italy, after being annihilated by the Brazil on Sunday evening (Watch all the goals). Although I must admit I had expected Italy to go down to the Samba kings because of the form the Brazilians have been in, but never did I expect them to go down 3 – 0. But that’s how the beautiful game of football goes, you win some and loose some, but I’m certain Italy will look back and admit that they didn’t have the best of tournaments after having lost two of the 3 games they played on African soil. Not counting the friendly they played against New Zealand before the tournament kicked off.
As you can tell, there’s a lot on can say about the events of this year’s Confederations Cup, but I would like us to take a look at what’s been happening in the transfer window. A lot of rumours have been reported by various newspapers and websites and I thought I should share with the many of you that follow Footballfevr.

Here we go, enjoy:

@Danie, yeah Wenger has to wake up now, a lot is happening in the transfer window and no notable signing for Arsenal, it’s frustrating times indeed…
